Veteran news anchor Catherine Kasavuli has spoken after pleading with Kenyans to donate blood to restore her health.
Through his Instagram page, the KBC news presenter has thanked her fans for prayers and encouraging messages.
In her statement, Kasavuli has expressed hope to overcome the illness.
“Thanks for your prayers and encouraging word,” Kasavuli wrote on her Instagram page.
National Television KBC channel 1 has appealed to Kenyans through their social media to help the employee through donating blood.
“Veteran News Anchor Catherine Kasavuli is admitted at KNH,private ward after being diagnosed with Cervical Cancer,” read their statement.
Kenyans have overwhelmingly wished her quick recovery.
