Education CS Magoha Announces His Next Move As His Term Ends

Education cabinet secretary George Magoha has disclosed that it is not yet his time for him to even as his term ends.

While speaking on Monday, Magoha has said he plans to go back to lecture room. Though he has not disclosed where he plans to work, Magoha has also said he will practice a bit of medicine.

I am going back to classroom. I will also go to my surgical clinic. I want to enjoy life,” he said.

Magoha who was speaking during a KNUT meeting at Kerugoya in Kirinyaga County.

The CS has further hailed CBC as a curriculum that will transform Kenya. He urged the Kenya Kwanza government not to eliminate it.

I hear people say that some parents are illiterate. Don’t I look intelligent and my parents never went to school? Excuse me for speaking rubbish,” he said.

The CS further thanked former President Uhuru to according him an opportunity to serve in Education ministry.

I would wish to the thank His Excellency the former President Uhuru for giving the opportunity to serve as CS education,” Magoha noted.

Magoha will be handing over to the newly appointed CS Ezekiel Machogu. He will be remembered for transitioning Kenya from 8:4:4 to CBC curriculum. He has also been very instrumental in sealing the loopholes of malpractices.
