Kenyan journalist Jacque Maribe has opened up on getting back to a romantic entanglement with comedian Eric Omondi.
While speaking Faydee media during an interview, Maribe praised Eric Omondi who is the father of her son for being supportive and nice to her.
Maribe who was recently acquitted in the murder charges of the late businessman Monica Kimani disclosed that she and Omondi are close friends. She attributed maturing beyond Omondi’s expectations to the woes that befell the one year relationship.
“Eric is my friend to date. He was in a space where we were having a serious relationship. I think I had matured beyond his expectations and literally no me and come like this and say, hey, are you doing this?” Maribe said.
Further Maribe disclosed that she wouldn’t mind getting back to a serious relationship with Omondi if he changes his ways.
Speaking about the dynamics of dating, Maribe underscored the importance of taking time to learn a partner before stepping into a serious relationship.
“He was very nice to me. He genuinely was, I will never come out and say anything to the contrary. He was very nice to me. But, um, and I think this is why it’s important to first learn somebody before you rush into something like this because I believe it was rushed,” Maribe said.
