So who is Dennis Itumbi?
Dennis Itumbi hails from from Gichungu, Kirinyaga County. He is a first born in a family of 5 boys.
The digital strategist was born in 1985 on 18th March and is therefore 37 years old as at 2022.
Dennis Itumbi schooled and did his KCSE at Meru School. He then proceeded to Kenya Institute of Mass Communication where he attained a Diploma in Journalism.
Itumbi’s thirst for education further took him to Mt. Kenya University where he pursued a degree in Mass Communication. He later joined University of Leicester, United Kingdom and attained Masters in New Media, Governance and Democracy.
Love and Marriage
Dennis leads a private life. He has successfully managed to keep his love life out of public domain.
At first, he appeared to be in love with media personality Jacque Maribe. He once described his relation with her as greater than his relationship with love.
The two have been photographed together on several occasions. They have however never publicly announced the nature of their friendship.
Dennis Itumbi is a CAS in the ministry of ICT.
While speaking in an interview, Itumbi revealed that he wanted to be a lawyer. He would attend court sessions and collect notes as lawyers did. His KCSE results however denied him a chance to be one. He instead opted for journalism because he would see journalists close to court proceedings.
Itumbi has risen from a humble beginning to becoming one of the most sought after media personality.
He worked for several reputable media like Royal Media Service, Standard News Paper, KBC and Voice of America before quitting for digital media.
In 2013, Itumbi joined Statehouse as member of Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU). He was however kicked out in 2018.
He then got into media space where he dug himself into formidable mobilization of Kenyans in favor of William Ruto Presidential candidacy.
His hardwork and resilience at a time when William Ruto was facing hardship in the Jubilee government, bore fruits. He was listed among those appointed as Chief Administrative Secretaries.

He also a farmer with special interest in pig farming.
