Denis Kariru: Meet the trending police constable from Kirinyaga

Denis Kariru was among the 2881 Kenya police officer constables who graduated on 10 January after successfully completing their training at Kigango.

Thousands of Kenyans took took to social media their congratulatory messages to the graduands.

Kenyan sportsman Ferdinand Omanyala was one of the most widely celebrated.

Dennis Kariru photo also found its way to social media and suddenly went viral.Kariru height and his transformation to a police officer has has left Kenyan amazed at his resilience and determination to serve Kenyans.

So,who is Denis Kariru?

Kariru hails from Mwea, Kirinyaga County. The officer who is in his mid-20s joined the police training during during the mid-2022 recruitment.

Before joining the police force, Kariru was actively involved in 2022 campaigns.From the post and videos he has shared on his social media, Kariru was one of Shujaa Rose Wachira’s diehard supporters.

Rose Wachira contested unsuccessfully for Kirinyaga County Women Rep position in August,2022 general elections.

While reacting to his photos, Kenyans congratulated Kariru for his achievement.

A section however criticized his height and wondored whether it is still a requirement in the recruitment process.
