Nicah intends to date Makena Njeri — Nicah

Dr. Ofweneke’s ex wife Nicah the Queen has left netizens in awe after suggesting that she intends to date Lesbian and former BBC journalist Makena Njeri.

Through an Instagram post, the mother of two, who happens to be a gospel artist, said that she was considering texting Makena but the worry is that she might be rejected.

“Can a born again Christian be a lesbian? Ama na overthink ? Si mninyang’anye simu aki kabla nitext makena aniambie mimi si type Yake(Am I overthinking? Take the phone from before I text Makena and she tells me I am not her type), ” Nicah shared with her fans.

This comes barely days after Nicah announced that she had broken up with her boyfriend, DJ Slahver, after being in a relationship for about two years.

“Slahver and I have decided to call it quits and go our separate ways! People can fall in love and they can also fall out. All In all we move on regardless! I wish him nothing but the best!” she revealed without stating the cause of separation.

Their separation came just months after Nicah decided to go public with their relationship. Signs that all was not well in the relationship began when a video surfaced on social media whereby DJ Slahver was seen wiping saliva from his cup after Nicah sipped from it. The singer appeared to be angered by his actions.

Before dating Slahver, Nicah had been married to Dr. Ofweneke and they got a child together. Their marriage hit the rock bottom with Nicah accusing Ofweneke of battering her.

“Domestic violence is such a bad thing…I had to walk away…I had to run, yes I am a single mum of two and I know God will watch over me and my kids,” she once said in one of her Instagram posts.

Ofweneke however denied the allegations saying, “I have never talked about it any. First of all I must say this on national TV, If there is a woman I respect so much and I tell her every day because we talk, I my x-wife we have become the best of friends. Considering if there was domestic violence or not, a time its never what it looks it is, so many things can be labeled at someone, they can be true or not true.”
