Riziki Kawira Murega, Daughter of Meru County’s first gentleman Murega Baichu Pleads with Kenyans to help her raise university fees

Riziki Kawira Murega, the daughter of Meru County’s first gentleman Robert Murega alias Murega Baichu, has elicited mixed reactions among Netizens after she released a video pleading with well wishers to help her raise university fees.

In the viral video that has been seen by Public News, Riziki begged Kenyans to help her raise money to pay for her exam fees.

In the video, Riziki attributed her lack of fees to separation of her parents and the tremendous hike in the university fees.

“Hello Everyone, my name is Riziki Kawira Murega, the daughter of Sabina Karimi and Robert Murega. Following separation of my parents, financial constraints and rise in the university fees, I am really in need of help to raise money to pay for exams and to complete my studies.” Riziki said.

Riziki Kawira, a first born in a family of three, is a student at Murang’a University pursuing Bachelor of Education (Arts). She is the daughter to Meru County’s governor Kawira Mwangaza‘s husband Murega Baichu and her Ex-wife Sabina Karimi.

After separation with Sabina, Murega Baichu found love in Kawira Mwangaza who had also separated with her husband. The two lovebirds walked down the aisle in a colourful ceremony. They are yet to be blessed with children.

Riziki’s call for help comes amidst, high political temperature in Meru County, where governor Kawira Mwangaza is facing impeachment.

Reacting to the video, Kenyans expressed varied reactions. While a section sympathised with her financial situation, some Kenyans speculated that she is being politically to tarnish the name of the Meru County Boss.
