2022 Kenya Certificate Of Primary Education (KCPE) top candidate Robinson Fwaro Makokha has elicited reactions among Kenyans after it emerged that he boarded a plane while reporting for form one. Robinson who studied in Christ The King Academy in Bungoma emerged the top candidate in the national exam after he scored 431 marks out of a possible 500. The bright boy was among thousands of learners who were admitted to form one across the country. He was invited to Kenya High national school. His photos alighting the plane went viral, with Kenyans wondering how deep the pockets of his parents/guardian are. Details have however emerged that the plane ticket was as a reward for his excellent performance. According to a DAP-K party, the boy was accorded this kingly treatment by his area Bumula MP Wanami Wamboka, who was impressed by his outstanding results. "Kenya's top KCPE candidate Robinson Fwaro Makokha today had a maiden flight courtesy of his area MP Hon Wamboka as he joins Alliance High school. Wamboka, one of our Big 5 MPs has prioritized investments in education to uplift his Bumula people," the DAP-K Party wrote. On Monday, January 16, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu gave an address on the Form One placement. The excited Robinson's father Fwaro D Fwaro, a former ward representative, shared on social media that his son had got an invitation to the prestigious national school, Alliance Boys. The word billionaire cuts an image of a person with a lot of money; probably more than they can account for, a person driving a high-end cars, a lavish house and other things associated with being wealthy. Most billionaires prefer to flaunt lavish lifestyle.Some however prefer to maintain low profile. One of such is the Chairman of Devki group of Companies, Narendra Raval popularly known as Guru. He walks with no cash and has one pair of shoes despite being one of the richest men in Kenya. Earlier on during an interview with Business Daily, the 58-year old business mogul estimated to be worth over 50 billion shillings said he has no debit or credit cards. He also disclosed that he does not have a wallet and walks around with his car keys only. According to him, he can easily business empire without any starting capital. “I don’t carry cash or cards. I only have my car key…If you took me now, with nothing on me, no cash, no phone and you dropped me in an arid land in Ethiopia or Somalia, I will build another Devki dynasty without taking a penny from anywhere or knowing anybody,” he said. Raval further added that he does not have an Mpesa account and that he does not know his worth since he does not count his money. “I don’t know. The day you start counting your money that is the end,” he said while responding to a question on the amount of money he has. While defending his decision of not counting his money, Raval said that his philanthropic works gives him satisfaction. “Because my money is not what I have in the bank. My money is the 6,500 people who work for me. My money is the oxygen that patients in hospitals are now breathing because we donated…That is my wealth, not when I spend on myself or my company or my family.” The business mogul owns 3 helicopters,a simple mobile phone and drives a Mercedes Benz. He has four suits and six ties in his closet. He argued that the situation would have been different if it was not for his wife who believes a man should have more than one suit and ties. Besides being a successful businessman, Raval is also an author and a philanthropist. He supports several schools, children homes and other vulnerable people in the society

With the rate of unemployment going up every day, many graduates have been forced to walk out of their proffesion to earn a living. While speaking in an interview, Kihuha described his journey as tough, saying that it had not been a bed of roses because he had dropped out of primary school at an early age. Music did not work because the production cost made it unaffordable to make good music video. This challenge however gave him an idea of using his skills to create film equipment. Kihuha began constructing camera cranes to hone his technique further and sold them for a staggering Ksh90,000. He was taken aback by the idea of how far his talent may take him. He made the decision to move out of his friend's workshop and open up his own garage in Uthiru, where he had moved and where the creations of Protisa came to life. The business name is drawn from the word project tisa, an idea he came up with because he is the nineth child in their family.
