President William Ruto and mama Rachel Ruto are over the moon after becoming grandparents. This is after their son Nick Ruto and his wife Evelyn Chemutai welcomed their first child a year after marriage.
The Head of State shared the good news on Sunday, during a Church Service in Nanyuki.
Nick Ruto wedded Evelyn Chemutai in 2021, in a beautiful ceremony attended by several prominent politician.
While breaking the news at a church service in Nanyuki, William Ruto expressed his joy of becoming a Grandpa.
“We came here last year to pay dowry and I now want to thank the people of Laikipia, who gave my son a wife, because we have been blessed with a grandchild,” The President said.
The elated president further attributed his early visit to Laikipia to the baby blessing.
“Perhaps my being early here has to do with that! So thank you to the people of Laikipia for giving be a daughter-in-law. Our family is growing,” Ruto added.
Nick is a lawyer by proffesion. He was admitted to bar as an Advocate of high court of Kenya in 2019 by the former Chief Justice David Maraga.
Former Chief Justice David Maraga gave Nick his approval to join the bar in 2019 as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
