Statehouse spokesperson Kanze Dena has reacted to Kenyans cry on high cost of living.
Speaking to Inooro TV, the former news anchor has attributed the high cost of living to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
“The rising cost of living is a global phenomenon that’s largely driven by the economic slowdown occasioned by Covid-19 pandemic among other external factors,” she said.
This comes amidst Kenyans cry for government to lower the food prices.
Kanze Dena has however affirmed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is keen on completing the stalled projects before his term elapses.
