Just two weeks after Geoffrey, another incident has left Kenyans in shock after a young man identified as Blair Muthomi fell off a story building dying on sport.
The 23-year old Muthomi lost his life after falling from the rooftop of a residential building in Kasarani amd died. The family is now demanding justice to know how their kin fell from the building. According to them, the mechanical engineering student was fews days to graduation.
The family now want to establish whether Muthomi harmed himself or he was pushed.
While speaking to the media, a foreman working at the construction site adjacent to the building from which Muthomi fell said he found the dead body when he arrived at the site in the morning. As he was opened the gate for constructors to begin their day, he spotted unusual thing.
One of Muthomi’s roommates who looked nervous followed him and then headed to where Blair Muthomi’s body remains were.
“Muthomi’s roommate came to me looking disturbed and nervous. He tried saying something but I could not hear him. He then went to where the body was and started looking at it. I asked him, ‘is that a human body?’ He didn’t respond to me, but he was there touching his body on his hands and stomach,” the foreman said.
Police officers have now arrested the two to help in investigations. The family in where Blair Muthomi hails from has expressed the pain of losing a loved one. While speaking to the media, the mother described his son who is the third born in a family of three as a humble and a dependable.
“This is so painful. I can’t imagine my son is no more. I am yet to break the news of his demise to his siblings. We just want to know what happened to Blair,” the mother said.
According to autopsy, the student died due to abdominal injuries that were consistent with a fall.
The demise comes at a time when the internet is on fire over the mysterious death of Geoffrey Mwathi.The young man also died after allegedly jumping from the 10th floor of DJ Faxto’s apartment along USIU road.

Muthomi’s father now want justice to be served for his son. According to him, the loss of their son was a big blow considering that he was few days to graduation.
“We were set to have a graduation for him so that he could continue with his education, but that has been cut short, and we do not know what exactly happened to him. The police are still doing investigations,” the father said.
