Kenyan singer Bahati’s long time producet Mesesi has defended his getting engaged to his 46-year girlfriend.
Mesesi revealed on social media that he is finally off the market after proposing to 46-year old Judy Lesta.In his message, the music-master expressed his joy after Lesta said Yes
“OFFICIALLY ENGAGED!!!.. I’m happy to let you know that BRAND MESESI and Judy Lesta are official a COUPLE!!!!! He who finds a wife finds a good thing!!!! SHE Said YES !!!! LOVE WINS !!” masesi wrote.
Masesi further revealed that Lesta is the first woman in his life.The 31 year old producer however noted that he know Kenyans might harass him for dating a older lady.
” I have never presented a woman in my life. This I felt because of the things she has done in my life she is respectful and I know people will talk because she is older than me.”
In het Just response, Lesta appreciated Mesesi for loving her and promised to always be by his side.

Mesesi defends his decision
During an interview with a YouTuber, Mesesi said that he does not care about what people say over the age difference.
While defending his decision, the producer termed Lesta as loving, Peaceful and caring.
” When you get a person who gives you peace, someone who is there to interact with you and gives you the best, it’s something you can’t let go.”
The 46 year old is a mother of 3. While speaking in the interview, Mesesi revealed that he has already interacted with the three children. He also a father of daughter he got from his past relationship when he was in campus.
” If a woman tells you yes, I will marry you, it is not something to take for granted. She is the woman of my life and I feel honored that she accepted my proposal.“
Mesesi also dismissed speculations that the engagement is a clout chase stunt and that he is about to release a song. He appreciated Gaurdian Angel for encouraging him to stick by the love of his life.
” It is not true that I want to release a song, I don’t need to chase clout. I have found the right woman in my life and I am in love. This is good news and I thank Guardian Angel because he encouraged me that I can find love anywhere and advised me to make it official.“
