List of Kenyan Celebrities who graduated from various Universities in 2023
Education comes along with some satisfaction and class that cannot be achieved by money and fame.
In 2023, several Kenyan celebrities who sought to quench their thirst for knowledge from various Universities were finally crowned after completing their courses.
Despite sinking in game and wealth, these celebrities embarked on a journey to decorate their academic portfolio.

Waihiga Mwaura (Journalist at BBC)
Waihiga Mwaura, a Senior Lead Presenter at BBC Africa, graduated in November with a Masters in Communication (Journalism) from Daystar University.
The journalist revealed the news o social media after he shared cute photos in gown. In his beautiful message, he celebrated his wife Joyce Omondi for being part of his academic excellence.
“God done did it. M.A. in Communication(Media Studies). What a journey this has been, one I thought would never end (story for another day). But here we are. So many people to thank.
“My beloved Joyce Omondi Waihiga for all the support through this journey. My family, who all encouraged me to never give up. A very helpful group of people at Daystar University. The PhD students who pushed me on. And to anyone I may have forgotten-thank you.”

Akothee
Kenyan singer Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee graduated in December from Mt. Kenya University with degree in Business Management.

She is singer Akothee’s daughter.
Fancy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism & Hotel Management from IES Business School in Paris, France.
While celebrating her daughter’s academic milestone, Akothee also revealed that Fancy had already enrolled for a Masters Degree.
“I admitted her in a language school in France for a year before she joined University where she has graduated with Bachelors degree in Tourism & hotel management. She already secured a job and doing her masters now,” Akothee wrote.
Ruth K
She is Comedian and radio personality Mulamwah’s wife. Ruth K is also a content creator.
She graduated from the University of Eldoret with a Degree in Education -majoring in Home Science.

Currently, MC Gogo is one of the best MCs and hypemasters in Kenya.
Despite the fame, MC Gogo recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kenyatta University.
Kennedy Rioba (Babushka Kenya)
Babushka is a content creator. He graduated in December with a law degree from Kisii University.
Babushka took to social media to celebrate his academic achievement, where he disclosed that the journey was tough.

The elated Jamila Mohamed shared her joy on social media, where she revealed that she was the third best in her class.
