Wiper Party leader has poured cold water on possibility of teaming up with Ruto in 2022
presidential race. While speaking to NTV Kenya kalonzo said that will be hard for One Alliance
Kenya to join forces with ‘thieves’.
According to the Wiper leader, fight against public theft is among the main principles of OKA.
“Our principle as OKA is the fight against stealing from Kenyans and all other forms of
corruption because Kenyans have lost faith in anybody talking about graft,” he noted.
Kalonzo has further explained that their different ideologies with that of ‘hustler nation’ is a big
stumbling block towards their unity.
“It is very difficult for some of us to work with the hustler nation. If they win the next elections,
which I highly doubt, then we will talk from there.”
Kalonzo has however revealed they are ready for talks with like-minded leaders ahead of 2022
general elections.
“If anyone wants us to form the next government and are open for any talks that can form a
coalition, then we can discuss,” he said
