Diana Marua is probably one of the best employers every Kenyan would wish to be working for. While many are known for mistreating househelps, Marua has chosen to be completely different.
Few months a go, Marua revealed that she pays her house help Irene Nekesa a salary of more than 100,000 shillings. The amount is more than what many civil servants earn.
Besides the hefty salary, the Bahati family has also allowed Nekesa children to reside in their big mansion.
Diana Marua Pays Air ticket for Iren Nekesa and Her Son
Marua recently took her love a notch higher and paid air ticket for Irene Nekesa and her son.
While sharing the news on her social media page, Marua praised Nekesa for her exemplary service. According to her, Nekesa had always dreamed of going closer to a plane.
“My Nanny Irene Nekesa is one of the Best people God every brought my way. She’s been with us since my baby @heavenbahati was 5 months old and she’s soon to turn 5 Years old in a few weeks
Being cared for by Irene over the years has brought me/us soo much peace and joy. What any mother would wish for from a caregiver. She’s a part of us, she is family.
She came in as a day nanny and because of her impressive work ethic all round, I hired her as a full time nanny and since she had her son, Joshua who was 4 years then and had no one to take care of him, we took him in as well.
One of her desire was to “see an aeroplane closer” so, yesterday, she not only saw the plane, but we flew with her all the way to @malindidreamgarden with my family together with her son to enjoy our holidays.”
Marua has now promised to fulfil other wishes of Irene Nekesa.
“Irene Nekesa now that that is out of your bucket list. What else would you wish for? Thank You for taking care of my family. You have no idea how much we appreciate you. Barikiwa Mpaka ushangae ,” Diana Marua wrote.
