“Sitakubali,” Mwalimu yesu breaks silence on planned crucifixion

Kenyan 'Jesus of Tongaren' popularly known as Mwalimu Yesu has broken silence over the planned crucifixion on the eve of Easter celebration. In the recent past, Kenyans shared on social media plot to crucify Mwalimu Yesu, just like the Jesus of the bible. Mwalimu Yesu has however mantained that he is not ready to be crucified. While speaking in an interview with Violet Auma, he said that the crucifixion of jesus happened once and that it cannot be repeated. He added that those planning to crucify him will only experience it in their dreams. "According to the times of the bible, those events are gone. A lightening cannot strike twice. Those who want crucify me will see it in their dreams and visions.I am praying that God will change those who want to crucify me." On whether he is the real Jesus, Yesu wa Tongaren said he is. According to him, the fact that he does not have scars is because he was given a new body. He also revealed that people flock to his church for miracles. "I do not have scars because I was given a new body. I'm the real Jesus. People flock into my church for miracles " Mwalimu Yesu has his own church. He also have disciples that are named according to the descendants of Jacob, and they help him run the church. A while a go, the preacher's daughter elicited mixed reactions among kenyans after she revealed that her father was a drunkard. She dismissed that Mwalimu Yesu is the real Jesus, adding that he used beat her mother.

Education CS Ezekiel Machogu Restores order in meru University Meru University students and Prof. Romanus Odhiambo have a reason to smile following a recent Education CS Ezekiel Machogu's directive. The university has had riots in the past few days following the ouster of vice chancellor Romanus for allegedly underperforming.The VC was temporarily replaced by Prof. Charity Gichuki. The rioting students cited political ill-will as cause of prof Romanus woes, and vowed that they will not step into the classes untill he was reinstated. In what appeared like a unified fight for Romano, the local business traders also threatened to close their businesses. On 6 March, 2023, the university released a statement of indefinite closure of the institution. "The university senate during a special senate meeting held on 6th, 2023 at pm deliberated on the disruption of university due to student's unrest. Arrising from this unrest, senate resolved as follows; 1.That the university be closed indefinitely. All students must vacateall the university campuses with immediate effect. 2. That the 10th graduation scheduled to take place on 11th March 2023 be suspended until further notice. " read the letter. CS Ezekiel Machogu Restores Order in Meru University In move to restore order in the university, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu ordered for reinstatement of Meru University VC Prof. Romanus Odhiambo with immediate effect. In his statement, the CS also directed that normal operations to resume tomorrow and graduation ceremony to proceed on Saturday as earlier scheduled.

Naftali Kinuthia reveals why he hacked Ivy Wangeci to death

Emotions ran high during a court session after Naftali Kinuthia, the main suspect of the murder of Moi university medical student Ivy Wangeci, narrated the events that led to the fateful act. While speaking before the court on 3rd march, Kinuthia confessed killing Ivy Wangeci on April 9, 2019. He disclosed to that he hacked Wangeci to death using an axe after he rejected him. Earlier on, Ivy asked Kinuthia for Ksh.28000 to hold a birthday party. Kinuthia sent her half of the money and promised to deliver the balance during the celebration date.Ivy however blocked him after she got the ksh.14000. On the fateful day, Kinuthia drove all the way from Nairobi to Eldoret to meet his girlfriend. He was forced to locate her physically because none of her phone numbers was going through. A big shock hit Kinuthia when he met Wangeci. The beautiful medical student ordered Kinuthia to leave and added that he was not invited to the birthday party. "She told me that I was not invited to the party and that I should immediately leave. I was so shocked by what she was saying. At that point I didn't even answer I knew she had burned all the bridges and there was no way I would restore our relationship,"Kinuthia narrated. Broken into pieces, Kinuthia left for his car ready to leave. But he got into the car, he saw a man holding and hugging Wangeci, 50 meters away. but what he saw 50 meters away led him to the tragic act. He said he remembers getting an axe from his car to attack Ivy but noted that he was not himself during the events that followed leading to Ivy’s death. While speaking during the court session, Kinuthia said the axe had been in his car for over a year and he had bought it for his own security. "The events impaired my thinking in a great way. At that point, I lost control and was too angry because of what was happening before me. I wasn't myself again and can't tell how I decided to pick the axe and attack her." After the attack, members of the public hailed on him with stones and beating causing him to sustain many injuries and lost consciousness. He was luckily rescued by a police officer and taken to the Moi Referral Hospital for treatment. When he woke up a nurse informed him that Ivy had died. While speaking to the court, Kinuthia regretted how he handled the situation, added that there were better way to solve their differences. He said that he got to know the pain of losing a loved one after his father died of unknown disease while he was still in cell "While still in cell, my father developed a sickness and died. I know the pain of losing a loved one.I I wasn't myself. I feel bad for the victim's family. If there was anything could be done now, I could do it

“Allow mobile phones in secondary schools,” Principals chairman Indimuli Kahi urges

The Secondary school principals association (KESSHA) chairperson Indimuli Kahi has sparked heated debate among Kenyans after proposing secondary school students be given access to mobile phones. According to the Machakos school Principal,the education system should embrace the changing trends in the digital economy and thus see the need of students have mobile phones in school. "This is my take but any te I say it people bash me. Technology is the way to go and it should be incorporated in schools," Kahi said Kahi was speaking on Saturday 11, February on the sidelines of an event organized by Kewota to empower female teachers to access digital products and insurance coverage. In his address, the Chief Principal however noted that the gadgets should have restrictions to avoid misuse. "Time has come when we need to think again on policies of use of mobile phones in schools by our students," Kahi said. While defending his take, Kahi argued that during the Covid 19 pandemic, learners were forced to take online classes. "We stopped using mobile phones immediately the schools were opened during the corona area. Before then, learners would sit down, log in into their smart phones and attend to online classes," he said. During the event, Kewota disclosed a major plan to empower its members to own laptops at affordable prices. It also launched a medical plan and also unveiled soft loans initiative for all registered members. Kahi has now urged the government to consider introducing the gadgets in secondary schools. He said the move will help prevent future shock on learning process. "Time has come for gadgets to be used in school by students. So that anytime we have educational shock we don’t close learning. We can close schools but learning continues," he said

Many times were are told Education is the Key and this one of motivations that makes learners from poor background work so hard. Pius Thuranira is one of learners who studied well in primary school with hope of joining a good highschool. The bright boy is however yet to join highschool despite having outstanding performance in 2022 KCPE. Thuranira hails from Aithû, Riaki village, Igembe South, Meru County. He schooled in Amwamba Primary school and scored 368 marks in last year's KCPE results. Despite being invited to join one of the best Extra-County schools in Kenya, Thuranira is yet to join form one. While speaking to a close neighbor identified as Linet, she revealed that the boy comes from a very poor background. "He (boy) is born in a family of five children. The first born is in college but he is always in and out due to lack of fees. The second born dropped out form 3 last because the parents could not manage to pay school fees," Linet told Public News. According to Linet, the father of the kid disappeared into the thin air leaving the mother with the burden of raising the five kids. The mother depends on casual jobs to feed the family. "She has no job. Most of the time huwa anaenda kutafuta vibarua za kuchuna majani chai. What she gets is not enough to feed her family and pay school fees." The neighbor has now pleaded with government to move fast and help the bright boy join form one. "We are humbly requesting leaders starting from the local MCA and MP john Paul Mwirigi to do something."

Shock as MCA who resigned from Ksh.40K job now working in a Mjengo. Agnes Nkanya is one of unlucky politicians whose efforts in the 2022 general elections did not pay. Despite staging a rigorous campaign to be MCA for Magumoni ward in Tharaka Nith, Nkanya did not clinch the seat. Before the campaigns, Agnes was working in the ministry of Agriculture, where she was earning a salary of Ksh. 40K. She however resigned months to election in order to comply with Kenyan elections act that requires civil servants to vacate office before the campaign period. Agnes transversed across Magumoni ward seeking votes on Devolution Party of Kenya that is headed by former Tharaka Nithi senator and Interior CS Kithure Kindiki. Months after losing elections, Agnes Nkanya has resorted to menial job to earn a living.Photos of her in construction site and washing cars has gone viral. "I was so passionate in campaigning for Kenya Kwanza leader William Ruto. Since I lost the elections, no one has called me. Not even an assignment or appointment to serve the people. I feel sidelined." Agnes has however noted that she is not desperate and that she is willing to dust herself and kove on. "I am not seeking for any sympathy. I just want Kenyans to know the pain many other leaders who lost in elections are going through."
