“Alikuwa na ugonjwa kama yangu 😭” Akuku Danger mourns sister

Popular Churchill Show Comedian Mannerson Oduor Ochieng popularly Akuku Danger is mourning the demise of his younger sister.

Akuku Danger took to his socials to break the sad news. In the emotional post, the comedian revealed that like him, his sister was born with Sickle Cell Anaemia.

“Woke up to the saddest News😭😭 My small siz Went To Be With The Lord Last Night. Like Me, she was born with sickle cell Disease and she succumbed to it. Rest Well Warrior, Nind gi kwe Merwa🕊️😭.”

Akuku Danger accompanied the post with a short clip of his sister doing a TikTok dance.

Sickle Cell Anaemia also known as Sickle Cell disease is a group of disorders that cause red blood cells to lose shape and break down.The incurable condition make red blood cells to contort into a sickle shape. The cells die early, leaving a shortage of healthy red blood cells (sickle cell anaemia) and can block blood flow causing pain (sickle cell crisis).

Last year, Akuku Danger opened up on pain and struggle of growing up with the condition. The comedian disclosed that he has been in an out of hospital since he was young, with the doctors predicting his lifespan to be 15 years saying patients don’t live past 18 years.

He said he is grateful to God that he is now above 30 years old and asked for more awareness on sickle cell anemia saying alot of doctors still don’t know how to deal with the condition.
