Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage has sparked heated debate on social media after she disclosed how she is planning to spoil herself during her birthday that will be coming in two weeks time.
The Afrobeats queen made headlines after she revealed plans to buy herself a very expensive gift to mark the day she was born.
The musician is set to clock 44 years on February 5.
Tiwa Savage, the mother of one is planning to spend a whooping 147,000 dollars — equivalent to 23 million Kenyan shillings on a handbag. She disclosed that she we I’ll spend the huge amount on a custom made bag to celebrate the day she was born.

In a WhatsApp conversation with her friend, Tiwa Savage asked her friend whether to buy the custom-made handbag as her birthday giftm.
Tiwa Savage wrote,” Should I or not. I mean my birthday is in a couple of weeks 😁😁😁.”
The news comes two weeks after she scandalized her former friend Davido, accusing him of issuing threats against her life.
It is believed that the altercation ensued after Tiwa Savage published on social media a photo with Davido’s baby mama, something that appeared to irritate the ‘Unavailable’ hitmaker.
