PESA OTAS: Student board a flight during form one admission

2022 Kenya Certificate Of Primary Education (KCPE) top candidate Robinson Fwaro Makokha has elicited reactions among Kenyans after it emerged that he boarded a plane while reporting for form one.
Robinson who studied in Christ The King Academy in Bungoma emerged the top candidate in the national exam after he scored 431 marks out of a possible 500.
The bright boy was among thousands of learners who were admitted to form one across the country. He was invited to Alliance Boys national school.
His photos alighting the plane went viral, with Kenyans wondering how deep the pockets of his parents/guardian are.
Details have however emerged that the plane ticket was as a reward for his excellent performance. According to a DAP-K party, the boy was accorded this kingly treatment by his area Bumula MP Wanami Wamboka, who was impressed by his outstanding results.
“Kenya’s top KCPE candidate Robinson Fwaro Makokha today had a maiden flight courtesy of his area MP Hon Wamboka as he joins Alliance High school. Wamboka, one of our Big 5 MPs has prioritized investments in education to uplift his Bumula people,” the DAP-K Party wrote.

On Monday, January 16, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu gave an address on the Form One placement.
The excited Robinson’s father Fwaro D Fwaro, a former ward representative, shared on social media that his son had got an invitation to the prestigious national school, Alliance Boys.
