
Bomet County Women Representative Linet Chepkorir Toto has warmed the hearts of many Kenyans after posing for a photo with her long time bodaboda rider.
Gideon Cheruiyot was very instrumental in Linet Toto’s campaigns. He rode the young Parliamentarian across Bomet County on his bodada as she sought for votes.
Months after the victory, the lawmaker has not forgotten the good deeds Gideon did to her. The two were recently captured on camera during a fundraiser event at Bomet East Sub-County.
“Later on I attended a fundraiser to offset the hospital bill for Stella Chepkwony of Kapsimbiri location, Merigi Ward, Bomet East Sub County,” read a statement on her Facebook page.

Late last year, Linet Toto took to social media to thank Gideon Cheruiyot for helping in transport during her campaigns.
“Allow me to thank my “driver” Gideon Cheruyiot who dedicated his time to carry me around in his Bodaboda, which was my official vehicle. Because of his passion, I was able to go to all meetings safely and on time. God bless you Gideon,” she said.

Linet Toto rose to fame early 2022, during a top UDA candidates meeting that was hels at the then Deputy President William Ruto’s official residence.
She was first denied entrance at the main gate despite having met all the laid down criteria.Her photos immediately went viral on social media prompting the gateman succumb to pressure.
With support of the UDA party leader William Ruto, Linet Toto got into rigorous campaign that saw her floor several political heavyweights.
