After a busy week of planting trees, William Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto decided to enjoy her weekend in style.
The daughter of the head of state showed up at Kalasha Awards on 3rd, Saturday Evening donning a short orange dress and her favorite long-haired wig.
Several Kenyan other celebrities including Wahu Kagwi and Sport CS Ababu Namwamba were also in attendance.
In photos that have circulated on social media, Charlene was seen seated next to Churchill Show’s comedian MC Jessy.
At one time, the two were captured by cameras having a chat.
The elated comedian-cum-politician shared the joy of conversing with ‘first daughter’ on social media.
“A little tête-à-tête with @charleneruto at the Kalasha Awards fete,” MC Jessy captioned a photo on Instagram.
Charlene Ruto’s facial expression during the conversation has however elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans online.

In photos that have ever since circulated on social media, Charlene was seen wearing a very serious face during the conversation.
A section of Kenyans have now interpreted that Jessy was probably saying something that did not amuse the daughter of the Kenyan President.
Here are some of their reactions;
Muomss: Anakwambiaaa… Weee MI sionagi ukiwa serious, staki hiyo upuzi yako😂😂😂😂😂😂
Captain Otoyo: Ulikuwa unamwambiaaaa??????🤔🤔🤔😳

Felly Felgat: Whatever you told her must have been unpleasant !
Luke Nyabende: You should have made her smile a bit with your comedies.
