A section of Kenyans has told off Agriculture CS Munya for embarrassing Igembe South MP John Paul Mwirigi over Uhuru Car gift.
While addressing the public on Saturday, the CS rebuked the young lawmaker for Joining DP Ruto even after Uhuru gifted him a Car. According to Munya, it was so ungrateful of the parliamentarian to sell Ruto to Kenyans.
Angry Kenyans have however countered his remarks.
“It is wrong for Munya to utter such remarks in public. We elected Munya without a car and we were comfortable that way. Uhuru car gift was not a bribe,” said one.
John Paul Mwirigi rose from a humble background to win the Igembe south parliamentary seat. The by then student went against all odds to beat his fierce competitor Rufus Miriti.
President Uhuru was touched when the lawmaker attended the first parliamentary seat after commuting in a matatu. Uhuru gifted him a car which Mwirigi use to date.
While responding to the Matter, the Member of Parliament has noted that he doesn’t owe Uhuru any loyalty for the Car gift.
