News of Singer Willy Paul arrest has elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans online. The singer was reportedly arrested at has rented apartment, SYOTANI Villas.
In the short clip that was seen by public News, the singer seen being escorted out of the apartment in a saloon police car.
Two hours before the arrest, the ‘Keroro’ hitmaker disclosed through Facebook page that his life was in danger. He said that police officers were sorrounding his apartment with intention of arresting him for allegedly knocking someone with his car and running away.
“I’ve been told that there are police officers outside my house SYOTANI Villas, waiting for me saying I knocked someone and ran away. They want to kill me!! The same thing happened last year. If someone happens to me mjue ni watu wamevaa uniform and they are outside my house right now !!!” he wrote.
Responding to the arrest news, Kenyans online expressed varied reactions. While many wished him safety, a section speculated that it was a clout chase inorder to release a song.
