4 powerful politicians that have been outrightly shamed by UDA

The 2022 general elections has proven that politics is indeed a game of chances. With results of various seats announced, a number of political heavyweights have been left in the cold.
Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya Alliance has been the hardest hit. Some of its key political figures have trounced. Here is the list;
- Kanini Kega

The Jubilee’s director of campaigns, Kanini Kega was among the first politician to concede defeat. The vocal politician lost the Kieni parliamentary seat to Njoroge Wainaina of UDA in a hotly contested race.
While taking to social media, the key President Uhuru has however blamed Deputy President William Ruto of poisoning the ground.
” One Day, the people of Mt, Kenya will know Uhuru meant well for them,” he noted.

2.Kiraitu Murungi

The veteran politician Kiraitu Murungi has for years been known for his political muscle. His political mind has featured in several governments including the hotly contested 2007/2008 general elections.
Kiraitu got into politics in 1992 and ever since has never lost an election. Tables have however turned for the first time in 2022. The self-proclaimed master of politics has lost his Meru County gubernatorial seat to Bishop Kawira Mwangaza.
Though he has not conceded, the incumbent Meru County governor has visibly been defeated with his votes placing him third.
3. Jeremiah Kioni
Jubilee Secretary Jeremiah Kioni is another victim of hot UDA wave in Mt. Kenya region. The once powerful politician lost the Ndaragwa parliamentary seat to George Gachagua of Dp Ruto’s UDA party.

Kioni took to social media to concede defeat.
“To the people of Ndaragwa, it has been an honor to serve you as your Member of Parliament. I accept the results with honor and contentment. Congratulations to Hon. George Gachagua on your election,” he said.
4. Ngunjiri Wambugu
The Nyeri town MP Ngunjiri Wamburu loves to be called Simba wa Nyeri. The lion however turned cut after he terribly lost to his UDA opponent.
Ngunjiri Wambugu who has was contesting on Jubilee ticked has been thrashed by UDA’s Duncan Mathenge.

The Key President Uhuru’s ally is yet to speak after the humiliating defeat.

Some of Nairobi business people said that they will close their businesses on the day to avoid unnecessary losses.A section of Kenyans further listed a number of young persons who should be in front line. They include; Winnie Odinga and Raila Junior. They are the ODM leader Raila Oding's children. Raila is the force behind the planned Mass action. Winnie Odinga was recently nominated as member of Parliament for EALA. George Mariga. He is Martha Karua's son. He is works as news reporter at KTN. Karua was the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance Deputy President designate. She is very vocal in pushing for the mass action.Kalonzo Musyoka's children.
