“I am not Uhuru’s Project”, Raila tell Kenyans

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has refuted claims that he is President
Uhuru’s project for 2022 general election.

While speaking to a local TV, the former prime minister who enjoys massive support from President
Uhuru since the birth of Handshake, has rubbished the claims of state project as mere lies being
preddled by political opponents. He has further added that the state needs him more than he need it
and he therefore does not require endorsement from anybody.

“Uhuru does not have to endorse me, and I’m not a project, I do not wish to be seen as a project,” he
said.

In the 2022 polls in which presidency has been projected as two-horse race, Raila Odinga will be battling
for Country’s top seat with Deputy President William Ruto.

In an interview, Raila further added that the Country need an engineer to leapfrog and catch up with
other countries that attained independence the same time with Kenya.
