A glisly road accident that occured on Thursday at Maili Tisa in Namanga, Kajiado County, has reportedly left five people dead and three fighting for their lives in hospital. The fatal accident occured after a private car collided with a motorcycle.
According to the reports, three people who were in the vehicle died on the spot, while two were injured and later died at the Namanga Health Centre. While confirming the incident, the Police noted that all occupants of the vehicle died.
Luckily, the motorcycle rider and two passengers who were on board sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at at the Namanga Health Centre.
Reports have further revealed that the driver of the vehicle, which was heading to Namanga from Nairobi, was intoxicated during the incident, ruling the possible cause of the accident.
The bodies of the deceased persons have since been moved to Kajiado Referral Hospital Mortuary pending identification and post-mortem.
