Ferdinand Omanyala, Africa’s fastest man, has proved to be one of the most royal husbands in Kenya after his recent revelationm. The famous athlete expressed deep admiration and gratitude to his wife for standing with him and offering unwavering support during his low moments, before his career shot up.
Omanyala is married to Laventa Amutavi. The two lovebirds met in 2016 at a kibandaski and Omanyala felt an instant connection – love at the first sight.
At the time, Omanyala was a student of Nairobi University while Laventa was pursuing a degree in social work at Moi University.
It took Omanyala a whooping seven months of persuasion for Laventa to reciprocate his affection. His efforts finally paid off and the two embarked in a journey of establishing a family.
Speaking during an interview, Omanyala disclosed that his wife was very supportive during the. early stages of his career. Laventa who was at the time working at Mama Lucy Hospital shouldered family responsibilities as Omanyala balanced between his blooming career and studying at UON.
Unlike what most ladies would do, Laventa used his hard-earned salary to foot most of the bills. She would also give her husband some cash to use in his training.
Although Omanyala contributed what he could, his income as a national athlete was minimal. Winning a race would earn him a mere Sh5,000.
Recognizing this, Omanyala emphasized his wife’s crucial role, providing more substantial financial support.

Her unwavering trust in him and her belief in his dreams formed a strong foundation that propelled them both forward.
As Omanyala’s candle began shining brighter and his athletic career gained momentum, fame and wealth began to attract secret beautiful admirers.
Tons of beautiful ladies flocked into DM with intention of winning his heart. Omanyala however put clear his commitment to his wife who stood with him during to the hard times.
In one instance, Kenyan Socialite Huddah Monroe confessed undying love for the African 100M record holder. Huddah shared on social media that she was long to date Omanyala.
“Omanyala is not sooo bad looking. Hapa Kenya ni kama sitoki. connect hio date,” wrote Huddah.
According to the super fast Athlete, he doesn’t engage with individuals with intentions that are not genuine and straightforward.
Speaking in a joint interview with his wife at Radio Jambo, Omanyala said discipline helps him juggle through thousands of secret admirers.
“Women and even men come to my DM wanting to have a relationship with me. But I have to be principled,” he said.

He shared that his social media managers sift through his messages, and only important or relevant messages are brought to his attention.
Acknowledging the level of secret admiration that comes along with his level of fame, Omanyala confessed, “If I were to engage in an affair with every woman who shows interest, I would have more than 300 affairs.”
Omanyala reiterated that although his grateful for the love and attention he get from woman who are attracted to his success, he is seriously committed to bringing up his family.
