After 30 Years In Prison, 56-year Old Samuel Kahiga Marries 27-Year Old Girlfriend

After serving over 30 years in jail, a 56-year old man, Samuel Kahiga has finally tied knot to his 27-year old girlfriend.
Samuel Kahiga said ‘I do‘ to Lucy Wanjiku at Full Gospel Church in Ol Kalou, In Nyandarua.
In a beautiful ceremony that was conducted by By Bishop George Gathari, the two vowed to vowed to live together though thick and thin, before hundreds of congregants that went to witness the event.
The ceremony was conducted on Sunday before the church service.

Bishop Gathari lauded and congratulated Samuel Kahiga for the bold step. He further urged the congregants to embrace prisoners who get back to the society. He encouraged the couple to live by their vows and work towards a common goal.
Samuel Kahiga found himself behind bars in 1991, when he was sentenced to death for robbery with violence.The sentence was later reduced to life sentence.
Kahiga served over 30 years under strict surveillance of Naivasha Maximum Security Prison officers.
While there, Kahiga made a remarkable behaviour change and he was released 10 months ago.
He then met Lucy Wanjiku, whom he says has been supportive through his journey out of prison.
