
Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino is probably the most youthful, vocal and by extension the most hardworking lawmaker in Kenya.
Babu Owino was re-elected for the second term in 2022 general elections, a clear indication of the confidence his constituents have in him.
In a recent post he made on Facebook, the fearless lawmaker warmed the hearts of many Kenyans after he showcased the development projects he is implementing in his area of jurisdiction.
In the photos he shared, Babu showed before and after constructing modern washrooms for Mihang’o secondary schools.Some photos showed very dirty and dilapidated toilets, while others showed sparkling clean modern toilets with flashing systems.

The controversial MP accompanied the photos with assurance of more developments.
“We have constructed a 20 Door modern toilet for boys,girls and persons with disabilities at MIHANG’O SECONDARY SCHOOL,Embakasi East Republic.
“Our students were using pit latrines in dilapidated state before. I use a toilet to flush out all bad and unwanted things every morning, I flush out stress,bad experiences,negative thoughts and doubts.Nitawachosha na kazi,” he said.
While reacting to the post, Kenyans praised Babu for his good working, urging him to keep up the spirit. One of the happy constituent predicted that he will be the next governor of Nairobi.
