Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru has vowed to teach president Uhuru a political lesson in 2022 general election.
The former devolution CS who decamped recently from Azimio la Umoja to William Ruto camp has said that Mt. Kenya has totally shifted to the deputy president side. Waiguru has hinted that Mt. Kenya no longer recognize uhuru Kenyatta as kingpin and will no listen to him.
Information privy to the sources has revealed during a recent closed door meeting of the Ruling Jubilee party members, Uhuru dismissed the narrative that William Ruto is the most preferred candidate in Mt. Kenya region. While addressing the meeting, the president instructed members to popularize Azimio la Umoja in the region ahead of 2022 polls.
