Ruto camp led by Mathira Mp Rigathi Gachagua has asked Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi to join forces with Kenya Kwanza camp. While speaking during a church service at Maua Catholic church, Ragathi termed Ruto Camp as the best political home for Kiraitu Murungi.
“Nimeskia mmepitisha mzee wetu wa heshima Kiraitu Murungi akuje tufanye kazi pamoja. Mmetutuma tumtembelee. Tuongee na yeye. Tumwambie vile mmetumana. Akikuja kenya kwanza mambo itakuwa mzuri,” he said.
The call come amidst rumours that Ruto camp is planning to endorse Imenti South MP Kathuri Murungi for gubernatorial bid. Kenya Kwanza team was in a charm offensive mission at Maua, Igembe south led by Ruto, Musalia and other politicians.
Kenya Kwanza team was later hosted by Kathuri Murungi at Kionyo market. During the rally, Ruto endorsed his Kenya Kwanza camp as the solution to Kenyan economic problems.
