Shock as JSS teachers and KNEC Examiners continue starving
Thousands of teachers recruited by Teachers Service Commission to serve in junior secondaries have veen forced to turn to sukuma wiki and debts amidst the biting economic times.
While taking to social media, the tutors who have not received salaries for the last four months have lamented that they are almost giving up. The over 30,000 teachers reported to work on February early this year. They are however yet to receive their first pay, even as the economic times continue to worsen.

KNEC EXAMINERS ALSO IN TEARS
Well, JSS teachers are not alone. Kenya National Examination Council Examiners have also complained over the delayed allowances, months after completing the examination exercise.
Thousands of teachers who took part in invigilation and marking of 2022 KCSE have complained that they have not received their allowances, yet the exercise was completed early this year.
“KNEC is turning out to be a scam. 5 months after exam was released, we have not received our dues,” yet another aggrieved teacher wrote.
