It is a joy of every child to live with their mothers. It is however not the case for the seven-year old Nadia Mukami.
Nadia was abandoned by her mother at a Daycare around Kamulu Area. Her story went viral on social media prompting authorities to act.
The little girl has however refused to reunite with her mother for fear that she might abandon her again.
According to Bernard Mumo of Kamulu Police Station, the girl has bonded so well with the teacher who takes care of her, that she is not willing to go back to her mother.
“Ataniacha tena,” she pleaded with authorities.
Mother Refuse To Pick Her Daughter
After thorough investigations, police have identified Esther Nzambu as the mother of Nadia. She has however refused to pick her daughter, cites insecurity.
According to her, the public appeal to trace the mother of her daughter has exposed her badly and thus fears for her life.
Police have now launched manhunt for Esther.
