UDA’s Nairobi senatorial candidate Bishop Margret Wanjiru has conceded defeat in a beautiful message. In a statement published on her Facebook page, the evangelist-cum-politician has thanked Nairobian for voting
“I would like to thank God, our team and all Nairobians who came out to exercise their democratic right to vote, “she wrote.
In a concession message, Margret Wanjiru has further hailed ODM’s Edwin Sifuna for securing a win.
” We put up a vibrant campaign in Nairobi, but our challenger Edwin W. Sifuna,” she added.

Wanjiru lost the race after garnering 524,091 votes against Sifuna who got 716876 votes.
She now wants the Nairobi elected leaders to team up and work for the voters.
“To all aspirants from different political parties who vied and lost congratulations for the effort. Kindly remember leadership is a calling and you still carry that responsibility to do everything within your ability to make our community better.”
