Man in tears after discovering apartment he’s been paying for 12 years belongs to wife

The Kenyan man was treated to a shock of his life after learning that the apartment he has been paying for every month belonged to his wife.

Kithia, a Nairobi resident who could not hold the pain of betrayal after the shocking discovery collapsed immediately and he was rushed to the hospital where he is receiving treatment.

According to reports, Kithia and his wife have been residing in the apartment for the last 12 years. The two moved in to the facility two years after wedding.

The distressed father of two reported that he has been footing rent charges for the years they have lived in the apartment, with the total charges accruing to over 5 million shillings.

“It’s very painful. I have already paid over 5 millions to a house belonging to my wife who has all along been playing innocent and jobless. There are times we have had to go without some luxuries yet he could not help me,” he painfully expressed.

How Kithia discovered the apartment belonged to wife

For the long Kithia has been living with his wife, it has never dawned to him that his wife could a millionaire.

The shocking discovery occured after wife decided to visit her relatives in Nyeri, leaving behind her laptop. While using the laptop, Kithia bumped on to emails from KRA. The emails contained Tax return details of the apartment. He discovered that his wife was running the apartments through a firm.

The apartment which charges Ksh. 45,000 per month host ten other tenants.
