Man who disappeared from his home for 47 years expressed disappointed after he found out that his 2 wives have remarried
According to reports, Peter Oyuka who hails from Makale village, wondered why his two wives could not wait for just 47 years.
The 84-year-old man who vanished in 1974 returned home and expressed disappointment that the two wives he left behind could not wait long enough, and rather gave men an opportunity to drink from their honeypots.
Peter Oyuka,reportedly left Makale village in Kenya in 1974 at age 37 and disappeared never to be seen before by any of the family members, until recently when he showed up.
“I wish my wives were here today to welcome me home,” Oyuka lamented.
While speaking to local media, Peter urged the estranged wives to create time for him.
“I wish my two wives well in their marriages. However, I’d like them to know that I’m still alive and that they should create time and visit me.” he said.
Although he spent part of 47 years in Tanzania where he fell in love and had a child with another woman, he expected his wives to remain intact.
“I’m very disappointed that they could not wait for me. But I respect their decision,” he added.
Several Kenyan expressed mixed reactions, with some arguing that the wives were right.
