
Roots party presidential flag bearer George Wajackoyah has caught Kenyans by surprise after endorsing Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance Presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga for Presidency.

Through a video published by NTV Kenya in undisclosed place, George Wajackoyah has termed Raila Odinga as a visionary leader and best person to lead Kenya.
This comes days after the roots party’s presidential hopeful George Wajackoyah dismissed allegations that he is a ‘Project’.
William Ruto allies had hinted to Kenyans that Wajackoyah has been staged and being funded by the ‘deep state’. According to them, Wajackoyah would later drop his bid for Raila Odinga.
While speaking on TV,the fast rising presidential hopeful dismissed the allegations as rumors being peddled by his opponents to counter his fast rising popularity.
“Let me make it clear that I am not a project of anybody. I am a funding my own campaign through well-wishers,” he said.

The move is a big win to Raila Odinga who is eying for the Kenya’s top most seat for the 5th time.
Recent polls have shown Raila Odinga is the most preferred presidential candidate with William Ruto trailing closely behind. If elections were to be held today, Raila Odinga would lead with 49% against William Ruto 42%, INFOTRAK says.
