Popular Nigerian Singer David Adedeji, popularly known as Davido and wife Chioma have lost their son-Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The star who doubles up as a songwriter and producer lost his son on Monday, 20th.
Ifienyi drowned while celebrating his third birhday.
According to the friends, Ifeanyi jumped into the pool unnoticed.
“He drowned into a pool for too long before we could notice,” one witness said.
Davido and Chioma had gone to a Ibadan for a family gathering when the incidence occurred.
Ifeanyi was then rushed to the hospital but passed on.
Earlier on, Davido was filmed teaching his son how to swim. In the video that has ever since gone viral, the Electricity hitmaker was seen throwing the three-years-old boy into the swimming.
In a video that elicited mixed reactions, the singer could be heard praising his son for being a quick learner.
“This go learn quick,” he said.
