Meru County Women Representative Kawira Mwangaza has suffered a big blow after court barred her clearance by IEBC for Meru County gubernatorial race over forgery of academic papers. This is after petitioners went to court seeking to bar her and Kawira Mwangaza from being cleared.
According to the Petitioner (Dickson Mwenda Kithinji), Kawira Mwangaza forged a Bachelor of Education degree certificate from Kampala International University, a document that has since been disowned by the institution.
Kawira Mwangaza cry
The vocal women rep has however dismissed the court move as political witch-hunt by her rivals. According to her, the incumbent governor Kiraitu Murungi is afraid of his rising popularity in Meru County.
“Ambieni Herode only few days remaining. He will be ashamed and DIE of an unknown skin disease soon,” she posted.
“Mr Crocodile mbona unalia? Tuko nawewe kwa Debe Tuliza mzee. Bado mapambano. COWARD Crocodile.Wacha Baridi. You have Sensed Defeat.Herode, cain,Judas umeshindwa katika jina la yesu,” she added.
The fearless Governor Kiraitu’s rival has now asked her supporters to accompany her to court on Thursday when the final ruling will be made.
“I Welcome All my Friends to Accompany me to Court on Thursday Meru Court. We Must bring Down the OLD COWARD Crocodile. Shame on you Crocodile. Round hii umekutana na yule Mnoma.Tukutane kwa Debe wacha uoga.Don’t Miss,” she posted.
The rift between Kawira Mwangaza and Kiraitu Murungi has seemed to be widening over the recent past. This was visible during the highly anticipated Meru governors debate held at Kemu. Kawira skipped the debate over what she termed as trap to soil his gubernatorial bid.
Kiraitu Murungi allied politicians however attributed her absence to her ‘incompetency’. According to them, the debate required good intellectual capacity that Kawira did not have.
If all the Meru county gubernatoriol apirants are cleared, Kawira Mwangaza will run as an independent candidate, Mithika Linturi on Dp Ruto’s UDA party and Kiraitu Murungi will defend his seat on MBUS party.
