Joy as twin score equal marks in KCPE
It is all celebration for a family in Nairobi after their pair of twin scored equal marks in KCPE.
In a rare occasion Bett Lindsey Kiprotich and Bett Lee Kiprotich who studied in Mountain View school Nairobi, scored 414 marks.
The duo however says this is the first time they have tied. According to Bett Lindsey, she has always been ahead of his brother and the tie in KCPE results came as a surprise.
“I used to be on top of him in class. When these results came, I was actually in shock, we have never even tied in class but I am happy by the results,” she said.
They performed as follows;
Bett Lindsey; Mathematics 85A, Kiswahili 82A, English 86A, Science 76A, Social Studies and Religious Studies 85A for a total of 414 marks.
Bett Lee; Mathematics 85A, Kiswahili 85A, English 89A, Science 75A and Social Studies and Religious Studies 80A for a total of 414 marks.
Their father Charles Kipkirui Bett says he is so happy and ready to support them.
Lindsey is now hoping to join Kenya high while her brother is hoping to join Mang’u high.
