Sarah, the woman who inspired Tanzanian Bongo Flava Singer Diamond to compose the song ‘Kamwambie’ has opened up about their previous relationship.
Speaking to media personalities after attending Diamond’s electrifying show last week, Sarah disclosed that they dated with the WCB boss for 3 years.
“We dated. For like 3 years. From 2006 to around 2009,” Sarah said.
She shared that Diamond has been claiming to love more than any other woman he has ever dated.
“He has never said that he loves anybody more than me. Every time, he says that he love me more than any Woman,” she said.
Further, Sarah intimated that Diamond had initially included her name in the song ‘Kamwambie’ but later removed.
She claimed that the Star composed most of the songs in the first album because of her.
“I think all the songs in the first album were composed because of me,” she said.
However, Sarah noted that she is no longer in a romantic relationship with the singer. Rather, they are great friends.
“Separation does not mean enemity, we are great friends. Many people have been seeking me for an interview…he kept telling me people want to speak to me. But I’m too shy,” she said.
She disclosed that it was long since she saw Diamond.
“At time Naseeb call me after a long time. He is life ‘Sarah it has been long. Come over for catch-up‘”.
The businesswoman who sells clothes noted that she doesn’t intend to get back into a relationship with Diamond Platnumz. She also said that she is not eying a share of Diamond’s wealth, adding that she is proud of his success.
Last week, Diamond introduced Sarah during his show and noted that she inspired him to sing “Nenda kamwambie’. He said, “Here is Sarah. 15 years ago I sang for her this song.”
