Siaya governor James Orengo pleaded With President William Ruto to sit With Raila Odinga around a table of brotherhood.
The seasoned politician who is Raila’s diehard foot-soldier emphasized on the need of the two leaders sitting together.
“Mr President, I ask you in the spirit of togetherness (not of the handshake), to sit together on the table of brotherhood, with your brother Raila Amolo Odinga. The elections are over,” Orengo said.
Orengo was speaking during thanksgiving service of the Information, Communication and the Digital Economy CS Eliud Owalo at his home in Asembo.
In his speech, the Orengo acknowledged the willingness of the ODM leader to work with all elected leaders.
“I spoke to Raila Odinga a while ago and he said I should pass to you his word of welcome, feel at home,” he added.
William Ruto has been on 2-days working tour of the Nyanza region.
In his visit, the head of state commissioned various projects in Siaya and Homabay County.
