A middle aged lady identified as Lydia Ronad has gone viral after pleading with Mumias Member of Parliament Peter Salasya to marry her.
In photos circulating on social media, Lydia is seen holding a placard with a portrait of the lawmaker. It reads, “Mr Peter Salasya marry me. Plz plz mweshimiwa ( Mumias). I’m Lydia Ronad.“
Who is Lydia Ronad?
Public News has reached out to the lady to dig deep into her intentions. Believe us or not, Lydia is a soft spoken lady who is down to earth.
She hails from Kisii County, South Mugirango constituency.
On why she would love to marry the MP, Lydyia has revealed that she meets all the requirements mentioned earlier by the lawmaker.
“Salasya said that he want a God fearing lady…one who is humble, hardworking and one that can talk to people. I am that kind of a lady. I fear God and I am very humble,” she told public News.
Lydia is a Gospel Singer and a Night Guard
Lydia has also revealed that she is a gospel singer. She also works at night as a guard.
“I am a gospel singer. My songs are in all my social platforms. I also work as a night guard in wetland,” she added.
Lydia has further said that she is ready to serve the youth MP.
“I want to promise him that if he marries me, I will propel him to greater heights.”
