Kenyans have been left engulfed in sadness and shock following the shocking death of Bishop Allan Kiuna. The sad news that has gained huge traction on social media were confirmed by wife Cathy Kiuna.
Allan Kiuna was a senior paster and founder of jubilee christian center church. The popular preacher ministered alongside his wife Cathy Kiuna.The couple had been married for over 30 years, sharing a life dedicated to their faith and community.
While taking to X, Music Copyright Society of Kenya boss Ezekiel Mutua mourned Kiuna as a person who was dedicated to speaking the true word of God.
“Bishop Allan Kiuna preached with zeal, power and conviction and did not hold back even in the face of criticism. His powerful sermons and transformative leadership made JCC a global brand. He has touched so many people with the power of his faith.
“Once can safely say that he served his purpose and has rested from the scourge of cancer. My sincere condolences to Rev. Kathy and the entire family, the JCC fraternity and the church at large. May Bishop’s soul rest in peace,” wrote Kiuna in a lengthy text on his X page.
Bishop Allan Kiuna Sickness that Claimed His Life
Bishop Allan Kiuna has been battling Myeloma Cancer in the past few years. He travelled in 2022 to united State for specialized medical care.
Upon his return in 2023, Bishop Kiuna did a big thanksgiving ceremony in which he happily declared that he was free from the deadly disease. He further disclosed that his treatment cost a whooping $3 million dollars, equivalent to 459.9 Million Kenyan shillings.
According to him, he did not spend a coin from his pocket, but was rather divinely provided.
“For the one year that I was in the US, my treatment cost $3 million, and I didn’t remove one coin from my pocket because the God of heaven provided. I did not call anyone,” he stated, receiving cheers from the congregation.
Allan Kiuna leaves behind his wife, Cathy Kiuna, and their three children: Vanessa, Jeremy, and Stephanie.
