MERU: Bright boy who scored 368 marks in KCPE yet to join highschool

Many times were are told Education is the Key and this one of motivations that makes learners from poor background work so hard. Pius Thuranira is one of learners who studied well in primary school with hope of joining a good highschool. The bright boy is however yet to join highschool despite having outstanding performance in 2022 KCPE. Thuranira hails from Aithû, Riaki village, Igembe South, Meru County. He schooled in Amwamba Primary school and scored 368 marks in last year's KCPE results. Despite being invited to join one of the best Extra-County schools in Kenya, Thuranira is yet to join form one. While speaking to a close neighbor identified as Linet, she revealed that the boy comes from a very poor background. "He (boy) is born in a family of five children. The first born is in college but he is always in and out due to lack of fees. The second born dropped out form 3 last because the parents could not manage to pay school fees," Linet told Public News. According to Linet, the father of the kid disappeared into the thin air leaving the mother with the burden of raising the five kids. The mother depends on casual jobs to feed the family. "She has no job. Most of the time huwa anaenda kutafuta vibarua za kuchuna majani chai. What she gets is not enough to feed her family and pay school fees." The neighbor has now pleaded with government to move fast and help the bright boy join form one. "We are humbly requesting leaders starting from the local MCA and MP john Paul Mwirigi to do something."

Kenyans singer Karuga Kimani popularly known as KRG The Don has once again sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans online. This is after claiming that his son Neville spend over 50,000 shillings daily. KRG was speaking to SPM TV. In the interview, the Mathogothanio hit-maker revealed that Neville uses the money to buy toys and and other necessities. "My firstborn son Neville uses 50K per day. Akikosa hio, hata kuamka hawezi. He uses the cash to buy his toys ba kujispoil," he said. According to KRG, his children are used to lavish lifestyle because he has a lot of money. KRG the Don considers himself as one of the richest Musician in Kenya. Earlier on in an interview with Tv47, the singer disclosed that he is worth more than 5 billion shillings. The singer added that he made his first million in 2008 when he was only 17 years old. "I am approaching KSh 5 billion, pesa iko hii dunia (There's money in this world). I made my first million in 2008 when I was 17," the singer daid during the interview. According to KRG, he grew a smart kid and that is why he managed to accrue so much wealth within a short time. He revealed that his father used to give him a lot of money, somw of which he saved and invested wisely. "I was always a smart kid, and from an early age in High school, I started making money. My dad used to give me a lot of money, he used to give me like KSh 150k, and I only needed sh 40k. I was keen and used it wisely."

Kenyan popular Genge hits-maker Mejja has finally found love years after seperating with his baby mama. The celebrity introduced his new girlfriend know as Ray Zuri and fans can't keep calm. Mejja shared a video on Instagram having a cool moment with Ray Zuri during her birthday. In the video seen by Public News, the two were captured dancing together, shared cake and k|ss€d passionately. His news relationship comes years after Mejja broke up with his baby mama milly Wairimu. The baby mama accused Mejja of having toxic traits. Last year November while speaking with Makena in an interview, the Utawezana hit-maker revealed that he prefers keeping his relationship private. According to him, any time he introduces a girlfriend to Kenyans, the relationship goes sour. In the interview, the musician further revealed the he prefers dating someone who is not in limelight, someone who is not a celebrity. Popular Luhya music artist Harry Richie has left Kenyans questioning the integrity of Comedian Eric Omondi, after he unleashed his bitterness against him. While speaking in an interview, the Vaida hitmaker expressed his anger against the self-proclaimed Africa's King of Comedy by referring to him as a "wolf in sheep's clothes" and an "agent of Satan." "Eric Omondi ni mtu wa dunia na mtu wa shetani siezi ongea juu yake." He lamented.. Eric Omondi took advantage of Harry Ritchie Popularity In the interview, Ritchie narrated how Eric Omondi used his popularity to make money and then left him with huge hotel bill. "When my song 'Vaida' became very popular, Eric Omondi began looking for me. He claimed that he wanted to help me shoot its video. I was so happy. It was the first time I was meeting a celebrity of his caliber," he narrated. Ritchie first encounter with Eric Omondi cut an image of unreliable person. When asked to elaborate, the talented Luhya star pointed to the comedian's feminine clothing choices and his small physique as indicators of his untrustworthiness. Self proclaimed Africa King of Comedy and one of the most controversial Kenyan celebrities Eric Omondi has once again elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans online. This is after he decided to show up in one of churches in Nairobi and minister the word of God. In his sermon, Eric Omondi read a verse from Numbers. He claimed that he is the donkey sent by God to foresee and clean the mess in the gospel industry. The comedian did this to prove that he indeed been sent by God to speak out the ills amongst gospel musicians. Kenyan Socialite Peninah Lema Munyithya popularly known as Pesh has finally got freedom after staying behind bars in Ghanaian Prison for close to 10 years jail time. Kenyans learned about her release after she changed her profile picture on Facebook and also shared an inspirational quote. The socialite also uploaded a video of herself dancing on TikTok. Pesh was last seen on social media on July 2015 when she revealed that she was headed to Ghana for a holiday. "Thanks to God dreams coming tru.. another holiday for her majesty. #Ghana!," She wrote on her Facebook account. At that time of her arrest, she was still a student at Mount Kenya university where she was pursuing a degree in project management. According to her campus friend Lydia Wairimu, Pesh rose to fame from an incident where her steamy photos in birthday suit were leaked online. Through the online buzz, Pesh met a Nigerian man who promised her a good life. Lydiah further revealed that the Ghanaian man was using Pesh to traffic drugs from Ghana to Seychelles and on the fateful day, she was arrested at the airport. According to her revelation, the drug dealer who was using Pesh to traffic drugs had multiple identities making it hard for Ghanaian authorities to trace him. Pesh was subjected to the Ghanaian justice system and was found guilty of drug trafficking and subsequently sentenced to 10 years in prison.
